Gofio La Piña is a 100% Canarian company founded in Teror in 1957 by Don Carlos Acosta Lantigua. It currently has its factory in the Díaz Casanova Urbanization in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, an industry inaugurated in 2007 coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the founding of the company. This gofio manufacturing and packaging plant is the most technologically modern in the sector.
All this investment has been devoted to research and development (R&D), modernizing a container that preserves the best aroma and flavor of gofio in a purer state. Gofio La Piña has the ISO 9001: 2000 quality certificate (since 2006), being the first gofio industry to obtain a European quality certification.
Since its foundation, Gofio La Piña has been continuously improving the manufacturing processes of the best-known product in the Canary Islands.
